HD Academy was established in 2016 with the mission to inspire and motivate youth to stay active through sports. Our academy aims to achieve this by providing comprehensive programs and partnerships with like-minded organizations, ultimately becoming one of the largest sports development academies in Canada.
The name "HD Academy" represents our core value of Higher Development. We believe in nurturing young individuals not only in basketball but also in all aspects of their lives, equipping them with essential tools to overcome challenges.
HD Academy consists of several divisions, catering to different age groups, skill levels, and interests:

HD Academy Introduction to Basketball : An introductory program for players aged 5 to 15, focusing on recreational training clinics, skill development, small and medium group training, and seasonal programs (winter, spring, summer, fall).

HD3: A competitive 3x3 league, for players that wish to have more real in game experience.

HD Power: A program designed specifically for girls aged 6 to 15, offering competitive training clinics, organized games, and seasonal programs (spring, fall,winter).

Private and Semi-Private: Tailored sessions for players seeking to improve specific skills, address weaknesses, and enhance strengths through personalized coaching and guidance.

After School Program: Organized after-school basketball activities for elementary and high school students in grades 3 to 6, currently operating in 7 schools on the south shore.

Pre Game Talk: An initiative designed to assist student-athletes in managing their academic and athletic commitments effectively.
Through our various divisions, HD Academy remains dedicated to providing a well-rounded experience for young athletes, encouraging them to reach their full potential both on and off the court.
